Cornerstone Student Ministries

At Cornerstone we believe that part of our calling is to reach out to and equip teens (and their parents) to grow in their faith and be able to put it into practice.

Sunday Night Youth Group

Youth Group is a student-led worship service that is held on most Sunday nights from 6-8pm.  We meet in the youth room on the west end of the building. Enter through door 8. A typical night consists of games, worship, Bible study, and small group discussion. Lessons alternate between studies on books of the Bible and topics relating to teen life.

Sunday School

Every Sunday at 9am,

Middle School (Room 124), High School (Living Room)

We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and we want every student to know His word intimately. Our Sunday School program focuses on studying the Bible and Bible related topics in an age based setting.

The middle school class follows a two year curriculum that gives an overview of the whole Bible. Our goal is that every student who goes through this class will have solid knowledge of God's word as the story of God redeeming sinful man unto Himself.

The High School class takes what was learned in middle school and expands on it. In our 3 year curriculum we take a closer look at specific books like Daniel, Romans, and Revelation, and we cover specific topics like Apologetics, Church History, and Other World Religions. Our goal is that when our students graduate high school they will not only have a firm foundation in the Bible, but also be able to answer the challenges of this world lovingly and intelligently.

D-Groups

D-groups, or discipleship groups, are groups of 4-8 students who get together regularly with one of our adult leaders to study God's word, talk about life, and hang out. Most of our groups meet on a weekly basis throughout the school year. Our D-groups are organized by age and gender, and they are open to all of our students. If you are interested in learning more about D-groups, contact us through email.
