Discipleship @ Cornerstone

A Path for every christian

Jesus told his followers in Matthew 28:19 to “make disciples … teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.”

At Cornerstone we have defined a disciple as a person who is saved by Jesus, lives and speaks like Jesus, and leads others to do the same. Statements of purpose and vision change over time within any church or organization, but the vision that Jesus had was for His followers to make more and better disciples until He returns.

Cornerstone Christian Church has dedicated itself to this vision. Everything we do at Cornerstone is evaluated according to its disciple-making function. If you've been attending Cornerstone and not sure what steps to take next, you can download a copy of our Next Steps Path, here.

Discovering Cornerstone

New to Cornerstone? Wondering what's next? Looking to connect with a genuine community?

Join us for a free lunch in the Living Room after the 10:30 a.m. service to have your questions answered. This once quarterly event covers who we are, what you can expect from Cornerstone, and how you can take your Next Steps toward Jesus.

You'll be able to ask questions, build relationships, and learn what's like to be a part of Cornerstone.

Sunday school

At Cornerstone, we believe the purpose of Sunday School is to create an environment in which any person can come to ask questions, get answers, share ideas, and pray for each other.

We hold Sunday School at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., so no matter which worship service you attend, a great class is available for you and your family! For a list of current Sunday School classes, visit our Welcome Desk or check out our Sunday Morning program.

Home Groups

The Purpose of the Home Group Ministry is to provide an intimate environment where character development, and spiritual disciplines, and intentional-directional relationships are supported and challenged for individual Christian growth.

Home Groups are available to all adults, year-round. If you would like to learn more or if you would like to join a Home Group at Cornerstone, contact Joshua Bush

Electives

Cornerstone Elective Classes are held throughout the year and tackle a wide range of biblical themes. Taught by passionate, Christ-centered teachers, Cornerstone Electives can help you learn about a topic that is not normally covered during a Sunday School or Home Group meeting.

Stay tuned to our program and newsletter for upcoming electives!

They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
